We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Motor Technician for our well-established customer in the motor industry.
This job entails working in a very busy dealership, so the experience is essential, but ongoing training is provided. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of vehicle servicing, and diagnostics and be capable of producing quality work in a busy fast-paced environment. Experience in a light commercial vehicle would be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
* To service & repair vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' guidelines and dealership quality standards.
* To make written and verbal reports on service and repair activity to the workshop controller.
* To undertake vehicle road tests.
Requirements:
* Should be currently working as a technician within a franchise dealership.
* Have experience in light commercial vehicles.
* Used to working in an environment where quality, efficiency, and productivity are important.
* Timed served in a Motor Vehicle Apprenticeship or Modern Apprenticeship.
* Technical qualification - City & Guilds Motor Vehicle Craft or Technician to minimum Part II, or NVQ Level 3, or National Certificate in Motor Vehicle Engineering.
Hours:
The hours of attendance are based on a 39 -hour week. The hours vary from 8am 6pm
