We’ve partnered with a Fintech client who are looking for a visionary Principal Machine Learning Scientist to lead innovation across their AI and Data Science initiatives.

What You’ll Do
* Lead and mentor a world‑class Data Science team, fostering innovation through experimentation and rapid prototyping.
* Develop and execute a data science strategy aligned with business and product goals.
* Design, build, and deploy advanced ML/AI models (including LLMs and generative AI).
* Partner with Product, Engineering, and other teams to identify and deliver data‑driven opportunities.
* Ensure data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance.
* Stay ahead of AI and ML trends—bringing the latest ideas to life at FinTrU.
What You’ll Bring
* 10+ years of experience in Data Science/AI, including 5+ years in leadership roles.
* Proficiency in Python, SQL, and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit‑learn.
* Proven ability to lead ML/AI initiatives from concept to deployment, ideally in regulated industries.
* Exceptional communication and storytelling skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
* Deep understanding of transformers, LLMs, and generative AI.
Desired Qualifications
* Experience working with Financial Institutions and unstructured data sources.
* Hands‑on experience with cloud‑based data solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP).
* Passion for ethical and responsible AI practices.
* Familiarity with Agentic AI or autonomous systems.
* Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
