Assoc. CIPD | HR Business Partner at Speed Fibre Group: home of enet (Open Access Networks), & Magnet+
We’re looking for an experienced and adaptable HR Business Partner to join our team on a 12–13 month fixed-term contract.
As HR Business Partner, you will collaborate closely with the management team to understand business needs and deliver tailored HR solutions that drive organisational success. You’ll support the HR team to ensure efficient day-to-day operations and oversee the full employee lifecycle — from onboarding and recruitment to offboarding — providing strategic support to hiring managers to ensure a seamless employee experience. A key part of your role will involve partnering with line managers to proactively manage performance, probation, absenteeism, and ER matters, while fostering a high-performing, engaged culture. You’ll lead on employee feedback surveys, EDI initiatives, and engagement strategies, as well as manage compliance with HR policies, ensuring alignment with legislation and best practice. With strong attention to detail, you will compile and analyse HR metrics and payroll data, supporting accurate monthly submissions and providing insights to the HR Director. You’ll also support compensation and benefits activity, including pensions, benchmarking, and risk benefits, and play an active role in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives. This role demands a trusted, adaptable HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to upholding the highest standards across all areas of HR practice.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
* 5+ years’ HR experience, including 2–3 years in a HRBP role within a fast-paced SME
* Degree in HRM or Business Management (Master’s preferred); CIPD accreditation desirable
* Proven expertise in employee engagement, wellbeing, and HR project delivery
* Strong HR analytics skills with the ability to interpret and present data
* Solid employee relations experience, including grievances and disciplinaries
* In-depth knowledge of Irish employment law (employment law qualification a plus)
* Passionate about EDI, ideally with exposure to the Irish Centre for Diversity framework
* Self-starter with strong decision-making skills and attention to detail
* Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
