Inside Sales Executive (12‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract)
Our client is seeking an Inside Sales Executive to support sales activity across a portfolio of pharmacy accounts throughout the country.
This position will focus on managing and growing a designated group of pharmacy customers, strengthening customer engagement, increasing account penetration and ensuring timely and consistent follow-up. Working in close partnership with the external sales team, the successful candidate will contribute to broader commercial objectives while maintaining ownership of their own account activity.
The role also involves regular collaboration with internal stakeholders to support sales initiatives and deliver a high standard of customer service. This is a full‑time, office‑based position.
This role will continue to evolve as internal systems and processes are refined. The successful candidate should be comfortable operating within a structured environment while remaining adaptable to shifting priorities and evolving ways of working.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct proactive outbound sales activity to a defined portfolio of pharmacy accounts, with inbound queries handled as a secondary element of the role
Promote and sell products in line with commercial priorities and agreed performance targets
Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers via telephone and email
Work closely with colleagues across sales, marketing, customer service, and operations
Keep accurate and up‑to‑date records of customer interactions and follow‑up actions
Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and re‑engage customers
Support the rollout of sales campaigns and other commercial initiatives
Skills & Experience
Experience in a sales, account management or customer‑facing role
Previous telesales experience would be an advantage
Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
Commercially aware with a proactive, target‑driven mindset
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and SharePoint
Experience within the pharmacy, healthcare or regulated sectors is beneficial but not essential
