EXTERNAL SALES REP | PERMANENT | SLIGO
Our client is looking for a driven External Sales Representative to proactively identify and engage customer prospects in the Sligo area. This role involves promoting and selling their products, building long-lasting customer relationships, and meeting sales targets. The ideal candidate will align with their commitment to excellent customer service and contribute to their ongoing success. This is a great opportunity for someone with a builder's materials knowledge and sales experience. This role comes with a very attractive salary which would be DOE.
RESPONSIBILITIES |
1. Product Promotion & Sales: Effectively present and market products to both current and prospective customers, highlighting their value and benefits.
2. Customer Relationship Building: Cultivate and sustain positive, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
3. Lead Generation & Outreach: Generate new leads through proactive outreach, including cold calling and networking. Actively follow up on potential customer leads.
4. Achieving Sales Goals: Consistently meet or surpass sales targets and objectives set by the organization.
5. Client Follow-Up: Stay in touch with potential customers to address their needs, offer support, and keep them engaged throughout the sales process.
6. Performance Tracking: Regularly monitor and report on individual sales progress, customer feedback, and market insights.
REQUIREMENTS |
7. Proven sales experience in the Construction sector with a focus on customer service.
8. Strong knowledge of building/timber materials is preferred.
9. Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
10. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively under pressure.
11. Experience working both individually and as part of a team.
12. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
13. Proficient in IT and Microsoft Office.
