Financial Operations Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day financial operations.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in managing financial systems and processes. You will be responsible for processing invoices, managing supplier payments, customer billing, and reconciliations.
You will also be responsible for managing RCT submissions and ensuring compliance with Revenue regulations. Additionally, you will prepare and file VAT returns in a timely and accurate manner.
Apart from these core responsibilities, you will set up contracts and manage payment structures for sub-contractors in compliance with Irish tax law.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting or finance role, preferably within an SME environment.
* Qualified ACA/ACCA/CPA or Part-Qualified working through exams.
* Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting platforms.
* Familiarity with RCT, VAT, and Irish tax legislation.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general IT systems.
* Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and ability to work independently.
