You’ll Need:

Minimum 3years’ relevant experience in project management or building services.
Up-to-date knowledge of Irish construction, health & safety, and procurement legislation.
Ability to travel between sites as needed.

We are currently seeking Senior Assistant Technical Officers / Project Managers to join a leading public sector client’s Estates Division. These roles offer the opportunity to deliver high-impact capital and maintenance projects across healthcare facilities, supporting the planning, design, and management of major and minor works.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and deliver capital and refurbishment projects from inception to completion.
Prepare project briefs, budgets, and procurement plans in compliance with EU and national legislation.
Supervise contractors, staff, and multi-disciplinary teams on assigned projects.
Ensure compliance of healthcare facilities with Irish legislation and HIQA standards.
Contribute to sustainability, energy efficiency, and risk management initiatives.
Candidate Requirements:
Level 8 degree or higher in Engineering, Architecture, Architectural Technology, or related disciplines.
Eligible for professional membership or already a member of Engineers Ireland, RIAI, or SCSI/RICS.
Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in project management, building services, or construction within the Irish context.
Up-to-date knowledge of Irish building regulations, procurement, and health & safety legislation.
Ability to hit the ground running and manage projects effectively with minimum supervision.
Access to appropriate transport for travel between sites.
Full Authorisation to work in Ireland with no restrictions and no sponsorship requirements
Benefits:
Starting salary at 1st point of scale with annual increments. (€60,000 - €70,000) Mileage / expenses paid in addition.
