Job Title: Financial Operations Manager
About the Role
The Financial Operations Manager is responsible for leading the financial management of the organization. This involves overseeing the preparation and delivery of accurate, timely monthly management accounts along with supporting financial reports.
This role requires strong analytical thinking and a proactive approach to identifying improvements and efficiencies. The successful candidate will have experience with business systems, ideally SAP, and be able to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Financial Reporting: Prepare and deliver accurate, timely monthly management accounts and supporting financial reports.
* Cash Flow Management: Manage the organization's cash flow, including the preparation of forecasts and related reports.
* Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a small finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
* KPI Analysis: Monitor, analyse, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), with a focus on sales, margins, and profitability.
Requirements
* Qualifications: A qualified accountant qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with relevant post-qualification experience.
* Business Systems: Experience with business systems, ideally SAP.
* Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical thinking and a proactive approach to identifying improvements and efficiencies.
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
* Time Management: Proven ability to meet deadlines, deliver under pressure, and maintain attention to detail.
