Job Opportunity: Catering Assistant
The successful candidates will join a motivated and friendly Catering Team in some of the largest Healthcare settings and Nursing Homes in Westmeath. They will be responsible for setting up catering units/wards for daily service, working from the pantry serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and teas, and day-to-day cleaning of the catering units and kitchens.
Responsibilities:
* Serve patients' meals at ward level
* Produce high-quality food while following all dietary requirements
* Work as part of the catering team following instructions from management
* Operate within HACCP procedures ensuring patient safety
* Prepare and present food in hospital canteens
Skills Required:
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Friendly and approachable manner when interacting with patients and staff
* Motivation to continuously improve and enhance the quality of service provided
* Able to follow clear instructions and work within established guidelines
