Job Title: Health and Environmental Safety Manager - Office Based Role
We are recruiting a senior Health and Environmental Safety professional to support our company in achieving excellence in health, safety, and environmental performance. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team and contribute to the delivery of projects across various sectors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of site-specific construction EHS plans, conducting risk assessments and method statements, and advising on training and first aid requirements. They will also investigate incidents, identify root causes, implement mitigation measures, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support EHS staff to ensure full compliance with all health, safety, and workplace legislation.
• Develop and maintain site-specific construction EHS plans for each project.
• Conduct risk assessments and method statements to ensure safe working practices.
• Advise on training and first aid requirements for projects.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, implement mitigation measures, and communicate findings.
• Deliver safety alerts through scheduled toolbox talks.
• Ensure statutory forms and inspections are completed and recorded promptly.
• Provide EHS project support and documentation.
Requirements:
• 3+ years experience in a similar role.
• A relevant Health and Safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• IT skills including Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
