Capex Recruitment are partnering with a well-established civil engineering subcontractor to recruit an experienced Senior Site Engineer for a major residential development in South Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality civils and groundworks packages across large-scale residential projects.
The Role
Working closely with the project and site management teams, the Senior Site Engineer will play a key role in overseeing engineering activities and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.
Key Responsibilities
Managing all setting out and surveying activities across the project
Coordinating subcontractors, groundworks crews and site operations
Ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications and programme requirements
Monitoring quality standards and maintaining accurate site records
Assisting with planning and sequencing of works to support project delivery
Liaising with main contractor representatives, consultants and site teams
Supporting health & safety compliance across all site activities
Resolving technical issues and assisting with day-to-day engineering coordination
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have strong experience delivering civils or groundworks packages on residential or large-scale construction projects.
Applicants should demonstrate:
Proven experience as a Site Engineer or Senior Site Engineer
Strong setting out and surveying capability
Background in civil engineering, groundworks or residential infrastructure projects
Ability to coordinate multiple work areas and subcontractors effectively
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction
Full clean driving licence
