An exciting opportunity to join a well-established construction group operating across Ireland, the UK, and Northern Europe. As a Site Manager, you will lead the on-site delivery of complex, schedule-driven projects where safety, quality, and coordination are paramount. This position suits someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and has strong, hands‑on experience in multidisciplinary construction.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily site operations with a focus on safety, programme, quality, and seamless handover.
Coordinate specialist subcontractors and sequence works efficiently to reduce downtime.
Monitor progress and report clearly to project leadership, highlighting risks and proposing solutions.
Plan short‑term schedules aligned with the overall master programme.
Foster strong working relationships with client representatives, designers, and suppliers.
Support commercial teams with documentation such as change notes and early warnings.
Ensure company standards for documentation, inspections, and project close‑out are consistently met.
Requirements
Proven experience managing live construction projects across multiple trades.
Solid understanding of building delivery and site management best practices.
Proficiency in standard office and scheduling tools (e.g., MS Office, mainstream scheduling software).
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a calm, solution‑oriented attitude.
Demonstrated record of delivering high‑quality work on time.
Ability to lead, motivate, and maintain team performance under pressure.
Good commercial awareness and understanding of supply chain coordination.
