Purpose: The Senior Operations Assistant Distribution Centre role oversees daily warehouse and loan operations, ensuring efficient, compliant, and high-quality service delivery. The role is responsible for inventory control, SAP accuracy, equipment readiness, and cross-functional coordination, while maintaining strong safety standards and supporting continuous operational improvement.
Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring service perfection, efficiency, and compliance with procedures.
Coordinate onboarding and process training for new employees, embedding best practice and SAP adherence.
Manage inventory levels, including stock rotation, expiry control, returns to Switzerland, and loan/consignment accuracy.
Ensure accurate picking, packing, dispatch, and documentation in line with SAP and approved distribution methods.
Own loan equipment operations, including receipt, inspection, maintenance, set completion, and readiness for redeployment.
Identify, quarantine, and escale damaged or non-conforming products, coordinating with Service Centre and quality teams.
Lead returns, credits, and exchanges, ensuring accurate stock reconciliation within SAP.
Champion health & safety, housekeeping, and accurate use of warehouse equipment at all times.
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelors degree in supply chain management, marketing, sales and or related disciplines
Knowledge of packing and distribution
A general understanding and basic technical knowledge of Medical Device products.
Knowledge of SAP desirable
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, well organised, numerate
Strong collaboration skills and ability to build partnerships internally and externally

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits: an annual bonus with set target (percent of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
