Description Providing a network of residential, education, training, employment, respite and community living supports to children and adults with intellectual disabilities in St John of God DSE Part Time Post 20 hours per week - based in Dun Laoghaire but will be needed to drive to multiple locations within the area. Salary of the department of health code 4110, catering staff band 4. Applications are invited for the post of Household Assistant. Duties will include; Ensuring all necessary cleaning tasks are conducted to the highest standards. Cleaning Kitchen utensils such as pots and pans in an efficient and thorough manner. Being constantly mindful of the need to keep all surfaces, floors, and catering area exceptionally clean. Unloading and packing deliveries of equipment and food Clear communication skills - good level of spoken English Ability to work well off own initiative Willingness to cooperate and work with colleagues as part of a team Ability to follow instructions effectively from Supervisors A knowledge of basic food hygiene while not essential is desirable.
