You will help set the architectural vision for ADI's debugger platforms — spanning SHARC, ARM, and RISC‑V cores — while staying close enough to the code to make authoritative technical decisions. You will lead the definition and evolution of debug infrastructure from the ground up. You will drive strategy for heterogeneous multi‑core debug, own relationships with ADI's most technically demanding customers on complex integration challenges, and provide architectural governance across build, automation, and CI/CD workflows. You will also represent DTE in cross‑divisional technical forums and contribute to the long‑term roadmap of ADI's development tools ecosystem.Minimum QualificationsBS or MS in CompE, CS, or EE with 15+ years of embedded software development experienceRecognized technical authority in JTAG/SWD‑based debugging across multiple processor architectures (ARM, RISC‑V, HiFi)Expert level C/C++ skills with hands‑on experience in low‑level firmware and device driver developmentProven track record of architecting and delivering large‑scale debugger platforms and debug probe ecosystemsExperience with embedded Linux including kernel modules, device drivers, and BSP integrationDemonstrated ability to define and govern architecture for large‑scale, modular platformsStrong analytical skills and extremely detail orientedStrong record of technical mentorship and talent development across engineering teamsExceptional analytical, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skillsDifferentiating QualificationsStrong knowledge of CoreSight debug and trace infrastructure, including ETM, ITM, and CTI componentsStrong knowledge of RISC‑V trace infrastructureFamiliarity with GDB, OpenOCD, or other open‑source debug toolingExperience designing and scaling CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker) for embedded toolchain validationExperience supporting FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or other embedded RTOS environmentsEstablished history of customer‑facing technical leadership, including defining and delivering technical solutionsExport LicensingFor positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
