Project Engineer Location: Southeast and Midland region Shareridge is currently seek a reliable and experienced Project Engineer to join our growing team working on key Water & Wastewater Infrastructure projects nationwide. As a Project Engineer you will work as part of our multi-disciplinary teams to bring projects from initial design, through to completion and handover to the client. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement solutions for multiple water and wastewater treatment projects. Ensure Health, Safety, Environmental & Sustainability standards, policies and procedures are always adhered to on-site. Review, prepare and submit detailed Method Statements and Risk Assessments prior to work activities commencing. Ensure projects are delivered in-line with quality procedures and that testing and commissioning of the works are completed in-line with the quality plan requirements. Preparation and submission of project handover files. Conduct thorough assessments of project requirements Liaise with relevant consultants, subcontractors, site staff, commercial resources and the general site team involved in the project Other duties as required from time to time. Work as part of a team in the delivery of one or more projects at any one time. Participate in project review meetings Experience: Degree in Engineering or related discipline. Proven water and wastewater industry experience as a project engineer or similar role. Ability to work as part of a team in project delivery and provide input at team meetings. Ability to engage with suppliers and sub-contractors at procurement stage and in the delivery of their scope of supply during contract delivery. Ability to use own initiative, problem solve and adjust as issues arise during project delivery. Good working knowledge in the use of GPS, total station and CAD. Strong communication skills with a high level of motivation. Demonstrated problem-solving ability and adaptability to changing project requirements. Full driving licence Additional Information: Location: Head office is located in Castlebar and Shareridge projects are based in the Midlands and Southeast regions, with regional offices in Limerick, Tullamore & Kilkenny Travel: This role involves travel to project sites and meetings when required.
