The Role This is a key position within the team, offering the opportunity to take ownership of projects and build strong client relationships. Youll lead the design and delivery of site infrastructure - roads, drainage, and utilities - while playing a visible role in shaping projects from concept through to construction. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will: Lead projects from feasibility through planning, detailed design, and construction Design site infrastructure including drainage (SuDS), watermains, and road networks Deliver designs in line with Uisce ireann, TII, and DMURS standards Prepare engineering reports, flood risk assessments, and planning documentation Develop detailed design packages, specifications, and tender documentation Act as a key point of contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders Carry out BCAR inspections and support construction-stage delivery Attend and lead design team meetings and liaise with Local Authorities and statutory bodies Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across civil and structural disciplines Youll be involved in a diverse portfolio of infrastructure and development projects, including: Private residential developments (high-rise and low-rise) nationwide Public sector housing for Local Authorities and the Land Development Agency (LDA) Infrastructure and site development for major schemes Refurbishment of historic structures for OPW and other clients New-build commercial offices and hotels Commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects Industrial and data centre developments Requirements Level 8+ Degree in Civil Engineering Chartered Engineer (CEng MIEI), or working toward chartership 5+ years experience, including at least 2 years in an Irish consultancy Strong experience in drainage, water, and road design from planning through construction Working knowledge of relevant Irish standards and codes (Uisce ireann, TII, DMURS) Proficiency in AutoCAD, InfoDrainage (or similar), and Civil 3D (desirable) Full driving license What's on Offer?
