Role Overview The Draughting Technician will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings, layouts, and plans to support engineering, manufacturing, or construction activities.
The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure accurate and timely delivery of drawings and documentation.
Key Responsibilities Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD software.
Update and revise existing drawings to reflect changes in design or project requirements.
Work collaboratively with engineers, designers, and project teams to interpret specifications and project briefs.
Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, regulations, and internal quality processes.
Maintain accurate records of drawings, revisions, and technical documentation.
Assist in preparing drawing packages for submission to clients, regulatory bodies, or internal teams.
Perform site visits or surveys when required to gather measurements and verify existing conditions.
Support project planning by providing accurate drawing-related insights and measurements.
Key Requirements: 2+ years of experience working as a Draughting Technician or similar technical draughting role.
Proficiency in AutoCAD or SolidWorks (Other software is also applicable) Strong understanding of technical drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and industry drafting standards.
Ability to read and interpret engineering, architectural, or manufacturing drawings.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
