Apleona Ireland is looking for a colleague to fulfill the Operations Manager role in a pharmaceutical setting in Longford area
Main Duties and responsibilities:
Ensure high-quality service delivery, exceed customer expectations, and promote the company's core values.
Implement control measures to maintain safe working environments for subcontractors and staff, ensuring smooth business operations.
Oversee contract delivery to ensure mechanical and electrical maintenance activities are completed in line with site-specific, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
Support clients in identifying energy management and operational efficiency opportunities that reduce cost and improve performance.
Establish and manage quality measures, facilitate two-way communication, and drive continuous improvement through feedback.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring complaints, issues, and escalations are addressed promptly and effectively.
Measure service delivery effectiveness against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure high performance and minimal deductions.
Lead, support, and develop teams to ensure they are trained, motivated, and capable of delivering high-quality services.
Ensure safe systems of work, manage Health and safety requirements, and comply with all statutory and company procedures.
Suggest and implement service delivery improvements and innovations.
Support commercial activities including budgeting, labour planning, subcontractor cost control, and tender support where required
Prepare monthly management reports, conduct regular site audits, and ensure timely, accurate client reporting.
Support any ad-hoc projects as required by management
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
Experience in a customer-focused environment.
Relevant third-level qualification or equivalent.
Financial and budgetary experience.
People management experience is essential.
Energy management experience/qualification is advantageous.
Membership in a relevant professional organization is advantageous
