A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced
Senior Quantity Surveyor
to join a thriving organisation within the structural steel and construction sector.
With a strong pipeline of projects heading into ****, this is an excellent time to step into a senior role where you can make a measurable impact.
What you'll do:
Manage procurement and performance of subcontractors
Prepare labour and equipment allocation sheets
Review construction drawings and identify changes from tender
Negotiate and agree variations and claims with clients
Prepare and submit interim payment applications
Visit site weekly (depending on project size)
Chase outstanding client payments
Carry out take-offs for structural steel, decking & cladding
Compile, submit, and finalise client accounts
You'll need:
10+ years' Quantity Surveying experience
Strong knowledge of structural steel or general construction
Confident with variations, final accounts & negotiation
Excellent communication and stakeholder management
Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook & project software
Knowledge of the Irish steel market is a bonus (not essential)
Ability to work proactively with strong attention to detail
