to lead and grow their customer network across
Ireland

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the field. Expect extensive travel, regular overnight hotel stays, and plenty of time spent outdoors visiting customers, distributors, and industry partners.
About the Role
The Area Sales Manager will manage and develop customer accounts within the Mobile & Industry segments, identify new business opportunities, and act as the key point of contact for all customers in Ireland. You will represent the company in diverse technical, agricultural, and industrial environments where their products are well known for durability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Development
* Grow and manage existing customer portfolios across Ireland
* Prospect for new customers in relevant industrial and mechanical sectors
* Analyse market conditions to identify new trends and opportunities
Customer Engagement
* Understand customer needs and propose tailored technical solutions
* Manage customer hardware fleets and recommend appropriate spare parts and configurations
Marketing & Field Promotion
* Participate in trade fairs, industry events, and customer demonstrations
* Utilise marketing tools to support customer acquisition and retention
Information & Reporting
* Maintain accurate client data using internal tools (Dynamics, Office Pack, Outlook, Teams)
* Share technical, commercial, and competitive insights with internal teams
Compliance & Coordination
* Follow guidance from the Regional Manager and Sales Department
* Coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth communication
Who We're Looking For
Ideally, you bring experience from a technically oriented field such as mechanical engineering, industrial machinery, agriculture, metals, spare parts, or civil engineering.
Skills & Attributes
* Strong interpersonal, listening, and communication skills
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
* Comfortable making decisions autonomously
* Adaptable, open-minded, and capable of working across varied customer environments
* Strong analytical abilities and familiarity with market research
Technical Skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Dynamics, Office Pack, Outlook, Teams)
Additional Requirements
* Fluent English
* High sense of confidentiality
* Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel frequently
* Comfortable with regular hotel stays and extensive fieldwork
