We are seeking an experienced Unified Communications & Collaboration (UCC) Manager to support and oversee collaboration technologies and executive communications for a major client. This is an interim role focused on operational leadership, high-quality conferencing support, and the smooth running of a Microsoft Teams-first collaboration environment.
The successful candidate will ensure reliable performance across voice, video, and conferencing services, lead a small UCC function, and provide confident, professional support to senior stakeholders.
About the Role
You will manage day-to-day UCC operations, lead a small technical team, and ensure the stability and quality of all enterprise collaboration services. A key part of the role involves preparing and supporting high-profile executive conference calls, including early-morning sessions when required.

, with legacy Cisco systems scheduled for retirement during the early phase of this assignment.
Key Responsibilities
UCC Operations & Service Quality
* Oversee and manage Unified Communications operations with a primary focus on Microsoft Teams.
* Ensure stable, secure, and high-quality performance across voice, video, and collaboration services.
* Support executive meetings and conference calls, including early-morning preparation and technical readiness.
* Manage incident escalation, root-cause analysis, and service recovery activities.
Team & Stakeholder Management
* Lead and coordinate a small UCC support function.
* Maintain clear, proactive communication with senior stakeholders.
* Provide structured reporting on service performance, issues, and improvements.
Technology Transition
* Oversee the retirement of remaining Cisco UCC systems (scheduled approximately one month into the assignment).
* Ensure all users and services are fully transitioned and stable within the Teams environment.
* Work with technical teams and vendors to ensure configuration accuracy and seamless cutovers.
What You Bring
* Strong expertise with
Microsoft Teams
(voice, conferencing, room systems, call queues, policy configuration, administration).
* Proven experience managing or leading UCC or collaboration operations.
* Ability to confidently support executive-level communication with professionalism and composure.
* Strong stakeholder-management skills in enterprise environments.
* Familiarity with Cisco UCC (CUCM, voice gateways, telephony) for short-term transition support.
* Comfortable with early-morning availability for high-profile meetings when needed.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
