Post Summary
The primary purpose of this post is to contribute to teaching, research, and administrative activities in the Department of Drama, School of Creative Arts. The successful candidate will be expected to teach a range of modules in the field of drama, theatre, and performance studies, and deliver excellent instruction across lecture, seminar, and studio‑based formats, as well as one‑to‑one mentoring. The candidate will also contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate supervision and mentoring and to the administrative functions of the Department and School.
Responsibilities
Teach modules across lecture, seminar, and studio formats.
Deliver one‑to‑one mentoring in areas of expertise.
Contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate supervision and mentoring.
Participate in administrative functions of the Department and School.
Maintain a research profile in line with expectations at this grade.
Qualifications
At least three years of experience teaching at university level.
Research profile meeting the expectations of the post.

Salary: Assistant Professor Merged Salary Scale (109BN), €43,425 – €103,582 per annum
Hours of Work: As prescribed under Public Service Agreements.
