Safety Assurance Professional
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Assurance Professional to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, contractors, and members of the public.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement effective health and safety policies, procedures, and protocols to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
* Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and assess risks, providing recommendations for improvement.
* Liaise with managers, supervisors, and workers to communicate health and safety requirements, provide training, and promote a culture of safety.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A comprehensive knowledge of health and safety legislation, risk assessment, and management systems (e.g., ISO 45001:2018).
* Experience in conducting site inspections, identifying hazards, and assessing risks.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.

Others:
* Assist in the development and implementation of the Integrated Management System (IMS), including updating safety statements, auditing systems, and implementing corrective actions.
* Participate in regional meetings, safety committees, and other forums to contribute to the advancement of health and safety practices within the organization.
* Report, record, and investigate incidents, accidents, near-misses, and dangerous occurrences in accordance with documented procedures.
