Financial Reporting Manager Position

As a Financial Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the finance team in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal.
You will work with qualified or part-qualified accountants who have some exposure to financial services or experience in fund administration.
This is a hybrid role that requires 2 – 3 days in office and involves preparing financial statements and investment returns for funds and separate accounts.
* Prepare financial statements and investment returns for funds and separate accounts.
* Assist in the preparation and review of investor communications, including capital activity and quarterly reporting.
* Support with Fund cash / liquidity management and payment of vendors.
* Collaborate with the funds' auditors to ensure that reporting deadlines are met.
* Proactively manage and complete ad hoc initiatives, such as share issuance notices.
* Reporting dividends to limited partnerships.
* Provide support for VAT and other tax returns.
* Build working relationship with external Fund Administration.
* Work collaboratively with staff located in various locations.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Experience of accounting, fund administration, tax or operations experience in financial services.
* Previous experience with financial statement preparation and accounting guidelines is a plus.
* Previous exposure with Direct Lending and private credit funds is a plus.
* Qualified or part qualified accountant with some exposure to financial services or experience in fund administration.
* Strong written communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong analytical skills, accuracy and careful attention to detail is essential.
* High-energy person who brings positivity, geniality and optimism to work.
* Critical thinking and problem-solving experience a must.
