Evening, weekend and overnight shifts available
Salary Scale:
The current salary scale for this post is €35,070 to €42,440 pro rata per annum.
Annual Leave Entitlement:
10.7% of hours worked
Overview of the Post
The purpose of the role is to provide support services to adults with physical disabilities in a community and home setting.
This post will involve working in our community houses in the Ennis area and also supporting individuals in their family home.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to the empowerment of people with disabilities, working as part of a team through a person-centred approach and will work with service owners in accessing social and recreational activities in the community and assisting with all aspects of daily living.

The successful candidate will have:
Minimum qualification QQI Level 5 Major Award (8 modules) in Social Care/Disability/Care skills or relevant health related area.
(Individuals with 2 modules completed will be eligible to apply once commitment given to complete the remainder of the major award)
1 year's experience working with adults with disabilities.
Full clean driver's licence and willingness to drive service transport.
Eligibility to work in the state.
Basic IT skills.
Experience working with adults in a HIQA designated centre.
Experience of working in community and in-home setting.
Experience supporting a service owner with behaviours that challenge.
