Project Engineer Position Description
Job Summary
This role is responsible for overseeing the design, commissioning, and renovation of biopharmaceutical process equipment. The successful candidate will provide engineering support and problem-solving expertise to ensure efficient and compliant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Designing and specifying new and renovated biopharmaceutical process equipment
* Providing engineering support and problem-solving expertise to existing equipment and manufacturing processes
* Managing project scope, deliverables, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control
* Assisting in design reviews, site acceptance, and installation of equipment
* Preparing and presenting project status reports and technical information
* Recommending and implementing corrective/preventative actions for existing equipment and manufacturing processes
Requirements
For this position, we are seeking an experienced engineer with a strong background in chemical, process, or mechanical engineering. A bachelor's degree or higher is required, along with at least 8 years of related experience. Direct experience with biopharmaceutical process equipment is preferred, but relevant experience can be substituted for education.
