Scientist (Business Intelligence Analyst) - Strategy & Deployment (S&D) Member within Advanced Manufacturing group.
The Scientist (Business Intelligence Analyst) is responsible for data solutions supporting the deployment of advanced technologies and innovations using the End-to-End Innovation Deployment Process. The role requires strong SQL and programming skills, as well as proficiency in BI Tools and the Microsoft Power Platform Suite. This role requires leading engagement with users to develop dashboards that can be shared with cross-functional teams that use deployed advanced technologies and enable monitoring of the value driven by deployed technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with internal team members to capture requirements and deliver data solutions to meet operational and strategic needs
2. Design, develop and maintain interactive, intuitive dashboards leveraging available BI tools to facilitate data visualization and decision making
3. Design and implement data models using modern data platforms (e.g. Databricks)
4. Ensure accurate data capture and management in compliance with data governance and regulatory requirements
5. Lead and facilitate meetings to foster a shared understanding of project goals, priorities, and deliverables across cross-functional teams
Qualifications
Education:
6. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology) or equivalent practical experience.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
7. Proficiency in BI Tools - Develop and maintain dashboards using both Tableau and PowerBI
8. Strong SQL skills - ability to query and manipulate large datasets using SQL
9. Analytical programming skills - experience in scripting languages such as python or R
10. Experience with Microsoft Power Platform suite (Power Automate and Power Apps)
11. Proven experience in monitoring and dashboarding of deployed advanced technologies and innovations using the End-to-End Innovation Deployment Process.

12. Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
13. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
14. Ability to drive strategic decision-making based on value proposition and value capture.
15. Proficient in technical writing, paying attention to detail and clarity.
Familiarity with industry best practices and standards related to technology deployment.
