Job Opportunity:
As a Senior Podiatrist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diabetes foot management to patients at risk of developing foot complications and those in remission from DFU. Your expertise will be essential in delivering effective treatment plans and ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
You may be required to provide continued care to those patients with active foot disease, working closely with the multi-disciplinary foot team to develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each patient. This will involve providing care closer to the patient's home in the community, promoting convenience and reducing barriers to access.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality podiatric services to patients, prioritizing their safety and well-being
This will involve coordinating clinic appointments, managing time effectively, and ensuring deadlines are met. You will also be responsible for communicating with senior and/or junior staff, writing reports, and presenting data as required.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes for individual patients, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary
Your attention to detail and ability to analyze data will be crucial in identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes that benefit patients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, reflecting the assessment and treatment of each patient
Your organizational skills and attention to detail will ensure that records are maintained in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Possess a strong understanding of a wide range of podiatric interventions, including nail surgery, rheumatoid arthritis, and MSK treatments
Your expertise in these areas will enable you to apply evidence-based practices and deliver high-quality care to patients.
Requirements:
• A recognized qualification as a Physiotherapist with CORU registration
