Job Title: Building Services Coordinator
The role of a skilled Building Services Engineer is to ensure the effective management and coordination of mechanical and electrical services on residential projects. This entails overseeing the design and installation of M&E systems, from initial planning stages to final commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities:
* Quality Control Management:
o Conduct regular inspections to verify that M&E installations meet the required standards.
* Collaboration with On-Site Teams:
o Support site construction managers in coordinating M&E installations and assist with on-site problem-solving.
* Maintenance of Project Schedules:
o Ensure timely completion of M&E system installations, minimizing delays or disruptions.
* Client Communication:
o Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding M&E system performance and maintenance requirements.
* Strategic Partnerships:
o Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and sub-contractors to secure best-in-class products and services.
