Leadership Role in Children’s Residential Care
This is a leadership role where you will work with the Social Care Manager to lead a team of social care workers and leaders.
To be successful in this role, you must have strong knowledge surrounding child protection, HIQA and leadership skills to support staff teams.
The ideal candidate will hold a qualification in social care or relevant field, with 3 years post-qualification work experience in children’s residential care settings.
Additionally, having a full clean driver's license is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership to a team of social care workers and leaders.
* Work closely with the Social Care Manager to achieve goals and objectives.
* Ensure high standards of care are maintained at all times.
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve service delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong knowledge of child protection principles and practices.
* HIQA regulations and compliance.
* Leadership and management skills to motivate and inspire staff.
* Qualification in social care or relevant field.
* 3 years post-qualification work experience in children’s residential care settings.
