Maintenance Operations Manager Role
Our organisation is seeking an accomplished Maintenance Operations Manager to lead our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest possible standards of property maintenance.
The successful applicant's key responsibilities will include:
* Supervising and providing general maintenance support
* Oversight of skilled tradespeople, including plumbers and electricians
* Procurement of equipment and services from suppliers, negotiating prices and contracts
* Collaboration with the finance department to ensure purchases align with organisational objectives
* Development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for duty managers
* Training of duty managers on SOPs
* Monitoring energy consumption and exploring opportunities for energy efficiency improvements
* Project managing refurbishment or capital expenditure projects
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Previous management experience in a similar environment
* Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment and drive high standards
* Good knowledge of Health and Safety best practices
* Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
* Flexibility in adapting to changing job demands
