Job Opportunity
A leading role in plant maintenance and large-scale plant improvement projects is available.
This position involves working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the appropriate preventative and predictive maintenance is completed, planning major shutdowns/overhauls, and managing contractors on specific jobs/projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for improving plant availability, troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues, and continuously improving safety and environmental standards.
Suitable candidates should have:
* A qualification as a Mechanical Engineer or similar;
* Knowledge of Health and Safety in heavy industry;
* At least 5 years' experience in a similar role;
* Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills;
* Proven technical skills and strong commercial acumen;
* Excellent IT skills (MS Office, Autocad);
* Strong attention to detail and capable of working on your own initiative whilst meeting project deadlines;
Furthermore, a work history of contributing and adding value to the overall performance of previous employers is expected.
