Position Overview
Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Laboratory Attendant within UCD School of Medicine Charles Institute of Dermatology.
The Laboratory Attendant will support the Institute with research and training activities.
The position involves working with the Institute's Technical Officer to maintain the wet laboratories and associated areas and to ensure adequate lab support is in place for the Institute's research projects.
Responsibilities
Activities include but are not limited to:
Updating databases
Monitoring consumable usage
Maintaining and cleaning equipment and common wet laboratory areas
Disposing of waste
Preparation of buffers / solutions
Compliance monitoring
Salary
95 Laboratory Attendant/Storeman_ ) Salary Scale: €35,196 - €40,173 Per Annum Pro Rata @ 0.5FTE.
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
