Senior Site Engineer A Senior Site Engineer is required for an established and expanding contractor to work on a variety of high-quality projects in the Sligo and Leitrim region.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join a progressive and growing team and play a key role in the delivery of high-standard construction projects.
The successful candidate will have a solid background working with building or civils contractors in Ireland or the UK and be confident managing both technical and site operations.
Duties: Oversee and support setting-out engineers while carrying out precise surveying work.
Monitor quality control and ensure compliance with project specifications and design requirements.
Coordinate with site management, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
Plan and schedule works effectively (daily, 1-week, 4-week, and 12-week lookahead).
Manage labour, materials, and resources efficiently on a day-to-day basis.
Prepare and review technical submittals, site documentation, and QA records.
Attend site progress and health & safety meetings.
Requirements: Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 5 years on-site experience in civil engineering, groundworks, or building construction.
Proven ability to manage teams and subcontractors effectively.
Strong technical, planning, and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Full, clean driving licence.
Eligible to work in Ireland.
