Senior Construction Financial Manager
A commercially focused Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee the financial and contractual management of key construction projects.
1. Managing all commercial aspects of assigned projects from initial tender through to final account.
2. Preparing detailed cost plans, bills of quantities, estimates, and procurement strategies.
3. Leading subcontract procurement, tender evaluation, and contract negotiation.
4. Managing project costs, variations, cash flow, and financial forecasts, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to senior management.
5. Preparing and reviewing monthly valuations, payment applications, and subcontractor assessments.
6. Managing contract administration including claims, change management, risk registers, and contractual correspondence.
7. Supporting and advising the project team on contractual matters and cost-effective solutions.
8. Conducting regular site visits to review progress, verify measurements, and resolve commercial issues.
9. Mentoring and supporting junior and graduate quantity surveyors, contributing to team development.
