Job Overview:
This is a strategic procurement role that requires effective supply chain management. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing supplier relationships, optimizing forecasting and purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
* Develop and implement efficient systems for purchasing operations to ensure end-to-end process optimization.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance supplier performance and build strong partnerships.
* Design and manage Purchase Order (PO) processes, including creation, submission, updates, inquiries, and closure assessments.
* Conduct materials planning and forecasting using ERP MRP, Min Max systems, and other electronic tools to determine order requirements based on consumption and scheduling.
* Manage procurement operations and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to ensure cost-effective and timely acquisition of materials.
* Update item data in SAP systems and generate supplier performance scorecards for regular communication with suppliers.
* Monitor supplier performance and report findings to stakeholders.
* Handle administrative duties, including processing goods returns and resolving PO/invoice issues.
Requirements:
Candidates should hold a degree in Business Studies or Supply Chain Management and possess relevant industry experience. Prior experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing is preferred but not essential.
