Emergency Medicine Specialist Role
This highly specialized role offers exposure to a diverse range of clinical situations, allowing the individual to develop their skills in emergency medicine.
Main Responsibilities
* Assess and manage acute presentations, utilizing advanced clinical knowledge and decision-making skills.
* Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, including collaboration with consultants and other healthcare professionals.
* Contribute to patient flow, safety, and clinical governance, ensuring optimal care is provided at all times.
* Support junior medical staff, providing guidance and supervision as required.
Suitable candidates will have registration with the Irish Medical Council (General or Specialist Division), minimum 3 years postgraduate clinical experience, and prior experience in emergency medicine (ED, AMAU, ICU, or Acute Medicine rotation beneficial).
