Construction Cost Estimator Specialist
Our organisation has extensive experience in mechanical services installation, focusing on pre-fabricating and installing pipework and structural steel.
Responsibilities include:
* Preparing detailed cost estimates for all project phases, tender documents, contracts, drawings, BoQs, specifications, budgets, and maintaining accurate records.
* Conducting material take offs prior to purchase requisitions for projects and reporting any irregularities or discrepancies to project management.
* Implementing post-contract duties, including measurements, final accounts, and evaluation reports. Preparation of payment applications and agreeing with clients.
* Managing, examining, controlling, and evaluating subcontractor works, evaluating claims, variations, invoices, and ensuring contractual obligations are satisfied.
Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years of Quantity surveying/Mechanical Engineering experience, and technical and practical knowledge of contract development, award, administration, and close-out relating to multi-discipline civil/construction projects.
