Meet the Team
The Ireland Manufacturing team is actively seeking the right teammate to support the stand up of production in our Ireland factory as a Manager in Manufacturing.
As a Manufacturing Manager, you will lead and coordinate a Manufacturing team operating on one of our shifts to support our overall Business Units that operates 24/7. This position will set goals, establish priorities, manage resources, develop concepts and approaches, review production performance and results, and make decisions to ensure production deliverables are achieved.
Front End Night Shift
This role is on a 12-hour night shift (7:00pm – 7:00am).
Every Monday to Wednesday and alternate Thursdays.
Following a repeating 4-on/3-off – 3-on/4-off schedule.
Shift Premium - 25%.
Where You Come In
You will plan, coordinate, and control manufacturing processes to ensure products are delivered on time and within budget.
You will lead, mentor, and develop production staff to achieve operational goals and maintain a positive work environment that operates to Dexcom’s desired behaviours. Focus on development of the individuals on the team for the benefit of the individual and Dexcom.
You will be responsible for addressing people’s performance issues and conflict resolutions if they arise.
You will monitor production KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimise productivity and reduce waste.
You will ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
You will collaborate with quality assurance, maintenance, and supply chain teams to resolve issues and support smooth operations.
You will prepare and manage production schedules, resource allocation, and inventory levels.
You will analyse production data and prepare regular reports for senior management.
You will drive implementation of lean manufacturing principles and best practices.
You bring a deep technical knowledge to help drive resolution of challenges.

Education & Experience
Typically requires a bachelor's degree with 8-12 years of industry experience and 2-5 years of previous people management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
CER Manufacturing experience essential, automation environment an advantage.
Medical device industry experience.
Experience with start-up & scale-up organizations.
Experience working in a Digital Factory.
Six Sigma Black Belt.
