Job Summary: The Spa Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for all spa guests, delivering an exceptional level of service that reflects the elegance and sophistication of a luxury spa environment.
This role is responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, handling inquiries, and ensuring seamless communication between guests and the spa team.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate refined professionalism, attention to detail, and a passion for creating memorable, personalised experiences for each guest.
Key Responsibilities Warmly welcome all guests upon arrival, ensuring a gracious and professional greeting that reflects the brand's luxury standards.
Handle all spa reservations, scheduling, and confirmations accurately and efficiently, maximizing appointment availability and operational flow.
Provide comprehensive information on spa treatments, facilities, and products, assisting guests in selecting services that meet their needs and preferences.
Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy in billing and payments through the spa management system.
Coordinate with therapists and spa attendants to ensure smooth daily operations and timely guest transitions.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly, professionally, and discreetly, maintaining the highest level of guest satisfaction.
Promote and upsell spa treatments, wellness packages, and retail products with a refined and consultative approach.
Maintain the presentation and ambience of the reception area, ensuring it always reflects the spa's serene and luxurious atmosphere.
Accurately maintain guest records, preferences, and feedback to enhance personalised service and guest retention.
Support administrative duties including inventory tracking, reporting, and daily sales reconciliation as directed by the Spa Supervisor.
Uphold the brand's service philosophy, grooming standards, and confidentiality policies at all times.

Required Experience Skills Minimum 1 years of experience in a front desk or guest service role within a luxury hotel, resort, or spa environment Proven ability to deliver exceptional guest relations and customer service in a refined, professional manner.
Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and polished demeanour.
Proficiency in spa management or reservation software (e.g., SpaSoft, Book4Time, Journey, or similar systems).
Confident handling of cash, billing, and POS transactions.
Impeccable personal presentation and grooming standards, reflecting the sophistication of a luxury resort.
Ability to remain calm, composed, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential guest information.
Eligibility to work in Ireland.
Preferred Experience Skills Previous experience in a luxury or destination spa environment.
Familiarity with premium spa brands and treatments.
Background in sales or retail within a luxury wellness or beauty setting.
Knowledge of wellness trends, spa etiquette, and holistic therapies.
Certification or coursework in hospitality, wellness management, or customer service is an advantage.
