The post holder will :Be responsible for the co-ordination, assessment, planning, implementation and review of care for Residents according to HIQA standards and Nursing Home Policies.Provide safe, comprehensive nursing care to Residents within the guidelines laid out by An Bord AltranaisThe Clinical Nurse Manager will practice nursing according to:Ø Professional Clinical GuidelinesØ Hiqa StandardsØ Local policies, protocols and guidelinesØ Current legislation* Must have a management and leadership qualificationManage own caseload in accordance with the needs of the postEncourage evidence based practice, using a care planning approach to nursing careParticipate in teams as appropriate, communicating and working in co-operation with other team membersCollaborate with Residents, family, carers and other staff in treatment / care planning and in the provision of support and advice.Communicate verbally and / or in writing results of assessments, treatment / care programmes and recommendations to the team and relevant others in accordance with Nursing Home Policy.Plan discharge or transition of the Residents between services as appropriateAssist in providing staff leadership and motivation, which is conducive to good staff relations and work performanceEnsure that Residents, and others are treated with dignity and respectMaintain nursing records in accordance with local service and professional standardsJob Type: Full-timePay: €42,000.00-€46,000.00 per yearWork Location: In personExpected start date: 04/12/2025
