Assistant Quality Manager- Dublin West
Our client, a leading food company in Dublin West, is looking for an Assistant Quality Manager to join their Quality team.
Reporting to the
Quality Manager
, this role will be responsible for handling customer technical queries and complaints, maintaining accurate product specifications and ensuring compliant labelling and ingredient declarations. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to maintain high standards across all technical and quality documentation.
You will:
* Maintain and update product specifications.
* Ensure labelling and ingredient declarations meet legal requirements.
* Handle and resolve customer complaints.
* Work with suppliers to gather technical and raw material data.
* Support NPD, Commercial, and Quality teams with product launches.
* Deputise for the Quality Manager in their absence.
What you'll need:
* A degree in Food Science or related discipline.
* At least 5 years experience in food manufacturing in a quality or technical role.
* Good knowledge of product specifications and food labelling legislation.
* Fluent English with excellent communication skills.
* High attention to detail with strong organisation and IT skills.
