Adult Therapy Service Leader
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced occupational therapist to take a leadership role in delivering adult-focused occupational therapy services within a community setting.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality assessments, interventions, and reviews for adult clients, with a focus on older adults and those living with frailty.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct home visits to assess functional ability, safety, environmental supports, and recommend appropriate equipment or modifications.
* Develop and deliver interventions focused on maximizing independence, functional rehabilitation, falls prevention, cognitive assessment, and environmental adaptation.
* Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists, public health nurses, GPs, social workers, SLTs, and other allied health professionals.
* Participate in integrated care initiatives, conducting joint assessments where required.
Requirements:
* CORU-registered Occupational Therapist (essential).
* Recognized qualification in Occupational Therapy (CORU-approved).
* Experience in adult primary care, community OT, medical, or rehabilitation settings.
