CNC Machining Specialist

The CNC Machining Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities.

* Create and validate CNC part programs for lathes and mills to drive efficient manufacturing processes.
* Adjust G Code to meet drawing specifications, thereby optimizing product quality and reducing waste.
* Provide support with tooling, jigs, and fixtures to enhance production efficiency.
* Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
* Train operators and line leads on process changes to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
* Prepare BOMs, routings, and AutoCAD drawings to streamline the production process.

Key Skills:

* 25 years experience in a CNC/machine shop environment with a strong background in hands-on CNC machining experience (lathes or mills).
* Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD, ideally AutoCAD, to design and develop precision parts.
* Understanding of engineering standards and manufacturing methods to ensure compliance and optimize processes.
* MS Office skills, especially Excel, to analyze data and make informed decisions.
