Capital Asset Analyst Job Description
The role of a Capital Asset Analyst is to ensure the accurate capitalisation of all relevant assets and monitoring the Assets Under Construction throughout the EMEA region.
This requires strict adherence to company policies while working closely with European affiliates.
This includes:
* Reviewing all Capitalisation Forms received to ensure they are in line with company policies and capitalized for the company closing calendar
* Delivering training and support to Project Managers to ensure good quality Capitalisation Form submissions for assigned affiliates
* Coordinating the physical inventory counts with affiliate business partners
* Maintaining and performing SOx controls aligned with leasing process
* Managing AUC, and capitalisation of projects for affiliates
* Collaborating closely with the General Accounting (GA) team to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the trial balance (TB) and financial reporting
Key Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* A strong understanding of capital processes in a multinational environment as well as US GAAP/IFRS technical accounting
* Experience with SAP CA Module, Business Warehouse or Business Objects
* Fluency in English
* Accounting / Finance degree (Undergraduate or Masters as required for certification)
