Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team.
This role requires someone with a passion for maintaining immaculate standards, delivering work with efficiency and care, and collaborating seamlessly with colleagues across all departments to ensure a superior guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Attention to Detail & Presentation
Clean and prepare guest bedrooms, suites, and public areas to the highest luxury standard.
Ensure all linens, amenities, and room features are impeccably presented and maintained.
Identify and report any maintenance issues, wear-and-tear, or inconsistencies to the appropriate department promptly.
Uphold the hotel's aesthetic by ensuring all areas are polished, tidy, and aligned with property standards.
2. Efficiency & Organisational Excellence
Work methodically to meet daily room targets while maintaining exceptional quality.
Use cleaning equipment and products safely, responsibly, and effectively.
Maintain organised housekeeping trolleys, storage rooms, and supply levels.
Support efficient room turnovers, especially during peak check-in times, to assist smooth operational flow.
3. Inter-Departmental Collaboration
Liaise closely with Reception to coordinate room statuses, special requests, and guest preferences.
Work with the Maintenance and Front of House teams to ensure any issues are addressed swiftly and rooms are guest-ready.
Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues across departments, contributing to a positive team atmosphere.
Support other hotel areas, such as assisting with laundry, turndown service, or special event setups when required.
