Conversational clarity - Technical topics explained simply
Technical Specifications
Reading Level: 5th-7th grade (Hemingway score 6-7)
Sentence Structure: Short sentences and paragraphs
Voice: Active voice throughout
Jargon: Only use industry-standard terms (2 CFR 200, Single Audit, )
Numbers: Specific and concrete ("$10,000 threshold" not "low amounts")
Content Structure
Scannable: Use headers, bullet points, numbered lists
Actionable: Every section should have clear takeaways
Example-driven: Include real-world scenarios and common situations
SEO-optimized: Natural keyword integration (we'll provide target keywords)
Brand Voice Guidelines
Use customer language: "contracts" for government funding, "grants" for foundation funding
Include specific proof points: "764+ organizations", "$85,000 average savings", "Zero overruns"
Avoid: Hyperbole, vague claims, marketing fluff
Embrace: Data, specificity, practical advice
