We are recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join an already well-established department within the company. This is a full-time role, based in our Dublin office. The Business Development Manager will report to the Dublin-based Commercial Manager for Infrastructure Project sales. The Dublin office focuses on IT Infrastructure and Smart Building projects across the country, including the Global Tech, Financial, Pharmaceutical & Commercial sectors.
What you’ll be doing as our Business Development Manager
* Interact with sales and estimations to familiarise yourself with the company sales processes
* Develop sales opportunities within new and existing clients
* Provide ICT updates and CPD sessions to our client and consultant network
* Uncover, track & close new sales opportunities to achieve a yearly target
* Attend trade shows and client events
* Work alongside the marketing team to raise awareness and target decision makers via social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn)
* Complete ongoing sales and product training as required
* Help position ONNEC Ireland as the largest ICT infrastructure company in Ireland
What we’re looking for in our Business Development Manager
* Ambitious, enthusiastic & self-motivated attitude
* Results-oriented mindset with strong negotiation skills
* Team player essential; ability to work with other departments to ensure the sales opportunity is delivered in full
* Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
* Experience using a CRM system is desirable; training will be provided
* Proven experience and knowledge in the ICT infrastructure industry
* Flexibility in working hours to attend client events & travel when required
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
