Financial Leadership Opportunity

The role involves overseeing cash flow, liquidity, and investment strategies to optimise performance, including bank reconciliations.
Responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, preparing annual statutory financial statements, and managing the external audit process.
In addition, you will establish strong internal controls, deliver clear variance analysis, and partner with the UK Finance Manager to ensure consistency, knowledge transfer, and succession planning across offices.
You will also lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, supporting their development and maintaining high performance.
Your Skills and Qualifications
* Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
* 8+ years' post-qualification experience within insurance or reinsurance.
* Strong background in financial planning, forecasting, and regulatory reporting.
* Experience with Solvency II quarterly and annual returns.
* Previous experience managing and developing teams.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and deliver to deadlines.
* Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
